This tender seeks proposals for the purchase of a standalone X-ray inspection machine, 90kv, FPD. The machine will be used for material inspection, verification and issue mitigation enhancing the company’s quality inspection process. The anticipated start date is Winter of 2024, and the completion deadline is the Spring of 2025.
MAIN CONTENT OF THE BRIEF
Overview:
IC Blue Ltd – based in Leeds, – offers semiconductor procurement services to end users globally. Turnover £10m with 35 employees.
A need has been identified to enhance the verification processes and establish a library of known good devices to reference against. With the backdrop of the significant supply chain challenges of the past 3yrs it is fundamental that IC Blue LTD continues to innovate and offer best in class solution to our extensive customer base. Providence and traceability within our procurement processes require enhancement of internal verification of the composition of components which this machine will allow.
Methodology: Suppliers are expected to propose a methodology that includes:
• Detailed research and analysis methods
• Ethical considerations in data collection
• Data sources and information sharing details
Outputs/Deliverables: Expected outputs include:
• X-ray machine capable of 600x magnification, Closed tube x-ray.
• Installation and configuration
• Training sessions for employees
Contract Management: The project will begin late 2024 and conclude within 8 weeks. Payments will be linked to that specified in the payment schedule. The contract manager will be Matthew Ward.
Award Criteria: Proposals will be assessed based on the evaluation criteria. Bids will be assessed using a value-based evaluation methodology, which considers a combination of cost, technical compliance, experience, skills, resources and qualifications.
Due diligence checks will be completed before awarding a purchase order including taking up references and undertaking financial stability checks
